Goals/Objectives of Fellowship

The University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, is recruiting for its ACGME-accredited Body Imaging Fellowship program for 2014-2015. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate from a strong residency program or a successful recently graduated practicing radiologist who would like to improve their skills.

We offer a competitive stipend and an outstanding benefits package. The primary mission of our fellowship is to provide superior clinical training in CT, US, and MR imaging of the body. This is accomplished by the dedication of faculty members who are deeply committed to resident and fellow education. The fellowships offer an unparalleled educational and clinical experience due to the volume, variety, and breadth of pathology seen every day. The program consists of body and cardiovascular MRI, procedures, CT and US. There is heavy emphasis on image-guided
procedures including biopsies, fine needle aspiration and thoracentesis/paracentecis.

There is a high volume of cases with diverse pathology. Our fellows have the opportunity to participate in advanced diagnostic imaging including MR spectroscopy, liver imaging, and dual-source CT imaging and to work side by side with nationally- and internationally-acclaimed academic radiologists and interact with world-renowned clinicians. Our fellows gain experience in various aspects of body imaging by working at top-rated facilities, including University of
Washington Medical Center, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (Oncology), and Harborview Medical Center (Trauma).
